i’m not sure what was going on approximately 40 weeks ago but there has been a baby boom at shalimar b photography!!  tons of newborns in the studio lately.  here’s one happy guy who came by recently . . .  

the only way this family could be more gorgeous is if they added another baby into the mix – and that’s exactly what they are doing in a couple of weeks!!!  i loved meeting and working with this family and can’t wait to meet the newest addition when she arrives!!

it’s finally back to business! i’ve been shooting plenty, but not so great with the posting on the blog and facebook.  these babies at this session were so sweet and true irish twins!!

i haven’t blogged (or facebooked!) in a bit – but i have a very good reason!  there’s a new baby in our house.  sleepless nights? check! changing our lives? check! cutest thing ever? check! double check! meet izzy.  our sweet baby girl.  

it’s not a secret that i love newborns.  their sleepiness, squishiness and of course everyone loves the smell of a newborn baby (ok, maybe not everyone!). but what i love most are the wrinkles on their back when they are posed just right – this is a good example of that.  love!    

i love photographing newborns – especially when they bring along a sweet big sister!!
