Where can I take my senior photos in evanston?
You'll get a lot more guidance on this, but to start - this is your moment to pull out the wardrobe stops! Most seniors bring 3-5 outfits per session. Full senior sessions include personalized styling support and unlimited outfit changes. Outfits range from really dressy (think prom dresses, tailored looks) to fully casual (denim, vintage tees, your favorite hoodie). It depends entirely on your style. The #1 rule is to stay true to your personal style. Always.
What should I wear for my senior photos?
A full senior session runs approximately 3-4 hours (starting with hair/makeup application). I keep shooting until sunset because that golden hour light is everything, and it makes your Evanston senior portraits absolutely glow.
How long will my evanston senior session last?
99.9% of the seniors I shoot tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera before we start. But I help you with all of it - I'll show you what to do, how to do it, and what to do with your hands (always the toughest part!). I'll also turn my camera around during the session, so you can see how photogenic you ACTUALLY are right away. Once we get rolling, you won't feel awkward - you'll feel (and look) like a complete pro. I've got you!
What if I’m awkward in front of the camera?
I get it. A lot of seniors I work with haven't had their hair or makeup done professionally before, and there's worry about looking too made-up or not like themselves. The artists I work with are the BEST in Chicago and they're trained to apply makeup specifically for camera, which is its own discipline. They'll collaborate closely to make sure you're happy with the result (and adjust anything that doesn't feel right). I always recommend that seniors bring in hair/makeup inspo for the artist - it's incredibly helpful. (We'll walk through it together during your Zoom call.)

When will my senior photos be ready to order?
Customer service matters a lot to me, and my goal is to make ordering as easy as possible. You'll order your photos at an in-person ordering session at the Ravenswood studio about two weeks after your senior session. Most families find the ordering session genuinely fun and easy.
How do I order my Graduation Photos?
Your prints and products are ready about four to six weeks after your order is placed.
When will my final products be ready?
Yes! I've photographed seniors from Evanston Township, Roycemore, Beacon Academy, Loyola Academy, and high schools all across the North Shore and Chicago. No matter which school you go to, your session is built entirely around you, never a template.
