Did you know it’s Children’s Author week? I recently discovered that myself!
When I was a kid I loved to read. I still do! My mother is an avid reader and so she (my dad too!) would read to me all the time. When I had kids there was nothing better than grabbing their favorite book and reading it multiple times with them. One of the boys’ favorites was “I love trucks!” Even I loved that book and can still recite it – “trucks, trucks, trucks, I love trucks . . .”
Goodnight Moon was another favorite, and obviously a classic. The boys loved looking for the mouse on each page.
A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to photograph a children’s book author – she plans on using the photos for her latest book that is due out soon. In the meantime, check out one of her other books “The First Rule of Punk.” It has a 5-star review on Amazon! Get it for your young reader (or yourself!)
