How to create unique gifts and mementos from all the photos you have! – Chicago Family Photographer
Summer is finally here and if you’re anything like me, you have a bunch of photos from the end of the school year. Last day of school, maybe a graduation from kindergarten, 8th grade or high school. And also like me, they are all on your phone. Hey! This is a judgement-free zone here, I also use my phone for A LOT of photo taking! But if they’re on your phone, how will you enjoy them – or, how will your kids/family enjoy them if they can’t see them? Luckily, there are so many things you can (and should!) do with the photos on your phone.
One of my favorite things to do is to create an album from Artifact Uprising. They make it so easy, you can do it right from you phone – using images from your camera roll or even Instagram. I use this option when I have a bunch of images I want to print – like from a trip or a special occasion. A 5.5″ x 5.5″ soft cover album starts at $15. I often will make one for me and one for each of my boys to save.
The other option I’d like to share is Pinhole Press. I use this company all the time! Pinhole Press offers a ton of unique items – from photo pads and albums to a memory game with your images on the cards. These are great for gifts too – Grandma and Grandpa LOVE getting notepads adorned with photos of their grandchildren. This company also offers phone-based ordering – from your camera roll, Facebook or Instagram. Notepads from Pinhole Press start at $12.
Below are some examples of products from each of these companies.
p.s. there are a ton of companies that offer services like this – just do some research to find one that works for you. Also, I don’t receive any type of kickback if you choose to use these two – I just really like them!
