Wherever you are, I hope you are celebrating the New Year in a way that brings you joy. The holidays can be stressful, right? A dear friend of mine once said that holidays are for men and children. And while my husband helps out quite a bit for Christmas, even he would agree that the bulk of the work falls to me. And, actually, I’m good with that. I enjoy shopping for my friends and my family and finding gifts I know they’ll love. But by the time NYE rolls around, I’m pretty beat. So for me, New Years Day is usually low-key and a time where I try to reflect and prepare for the new year. What will I do for my business? (lots of changes coming!) What will I do for myself? For my family? For my community? These are the things I like to think about. Not resolutions, per se, but goals, ideas and hopes.
