i look forward to my session with this little girl every year (not only to see her, but her awesome mom too!!)  i’ve been taking her photo since she was 3 months old!  she’s turning 6 next month – i can’t believe it!

one thing i love about going home to michigan is taking photos of people that i love – friends and family. this is one of my gorgeous cousins and her beautiful family. wait, wasn’t i just babysitting her? (i babysat at a very young age, by the way!) and now she’s a mom??

this family drove quite a way to come and see me – i’m so glad they did so i could see this guy’s sweet little face!

a couple of things that made me smile and laugh out loud this morning. #1 – this sweet, smiling face! #2 – as i stopped at my local starbucks, seeing a man walking down the street wearing a speedo (I hope that’s what it was!) and a denim shirt. ah – city living!!
