while waiting for my drink at my local starbucks the other day i noticed this mom in line holding her baby, he looked to be about 8-9 months old. as i was watching her i noticed that she could not stop kissing him, smelling him, touching him. i remember that feeling. the feeling of just not being able to get enough of your child. i still have that feeling, although my 10 and 7 year olds don’t really appreciate it when i’m constantly kissing them and sniffing them – and to be honest, they don’t smell quite as good!!! seeing that mom brought me right back to those days. wasn’t it just yesterday? at least i do get my baby fix with beautiful babies like this sweet girl . . .
