i love to read quotes.  quotes from famous people, infamous people and regular people.  quotes about family, life, work, kids and friends.  i love finding quotes that relate to my life and experience.  i have a favorite quote about friends – someone once gave me a card with this quote in it and i also recently ran across this quote in a book.  it’s about friends.

i’ve found that when you become a mom, you obviously don’t have as much free time as you used to. maybe you don’t see your friends as much, or don’t take as much me-time.  maybe you make friends with the parents of your kids’ friends – sometimes that works out, sometimes it doesn’t.   but, if you’re really lucky, you make friends with people that you connect with in some way.  maybe at first parenthood is the common denominator, but then you find other similarities and you are able to form real relationships.
