i’ve found that when you become a mom, you obviously don’t have as much free time as you used to. maybe you don’t see your friends as much, or don’t take as much me-time. maybe you make friends with the parents of your kids’ friends – sometimes that works out, sometimes it doesn’t. but, if you’re really lucky, you make friends with people that you connect with in some way. maybe at first parenthood is the common denominator, but then you find other similarities and you are able to form real relationships.
